What we collect, and why
What we collect. When you use the wizard or contact us: your name, email, phone, the property address, and what you tell us about the home. When you browse: standard analytics (pages viewed, approximate region, device type) — no advertising trackers.
Why. To prepare your report or certification, to contact you about it, and to run the service. That is the whole list.
What we never do. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone except the people needed to deliver what you asked for — an inspector we dispatch to your home, or a contractor you approve — and service providers that run our infrastructure (hosting, database, email) under contract.
Public records are different. Permit history, liens, and property facts come from public records and remain public. A published certificate is public by design — that is what makes it verifiable — and is published only for homes whose owners engaged us.
Your choices. Email privacy@nationalhomeregister.com to see, correct, or delete what we hold about you. Deleting a lead is immediate; records of an issued certificate are retained because buyers rely on them.
Effective August 2026. NHR is based in Florida, United States. If we materially change this policy, the change appears here first.
